Book organization in three steps

This call is all about organizing the books you own to read and enjoy or that you need. You should not own any other books.

Decide which books to keep. And before you try to decide which books you want to keep, practice the skill of taking decisions with your clothes, or something you are less attached to, first.

1. Accumulate all your books on the floor

For this call, the first step is to bring all your books, handouts from courses and schools you attended, all your magazines in one room. Take all the books off the shelves. Everything you are going to go through in this call has to be on the floor in one big random pile. Make sure the books are mixed! It’s meant to be highly chaotic, it makes it easier for you.

2. Decide what to keep

Clean the shelves for the books you keep and prepare them to protect and display your treasures. Prepare other places where you are going to keep books. They and what is around them has to be clean and ready.

In a second step, you decide which books you keep. You decide about each single book and you have to touch and move every single one.

3. Organise the books you keep

Learn how to organise the books you keep in a third step. There are different ways and depending on how many books you have different methods are suitable for you.

I provide information about how to sell books but get used to the thought that you will have to dispose of books and proceed fast in order to get a result that makes you happy long term.
